Chapter 1 . REYANSHI CHAUHAN

“What are you all doing? Kuch bhi dhang se nahi ho raha!” a woman in her early fifties she was pragya Chauhan mother of Reyanshi scolded the servants, her voice echoing throughout the lavish mansion.

Her saree perfectly draped, eyes filled with impatience and excitement, she kept checking everything around her.

“Meri beti itne mahino baad ghar aa rahi hai aur yahan ek kaam bhi properly nahi hua!” she continued, frustration evident in her tone.

“Shaant ho jao, Bhagyawan,” a man in his late fifties spoke softly while descending the grand staircase. “Servants sab kar lenge. Tum thoda rest kar lo.” he is father of Reyanshi and the CM OF UTTAR PRADESH Avinash Chauhan

Pragya ji turned toward him dramatically.

“Haan! Tumhe toh koi kaam hi nahi hai,” she huffed. “Aur kaha hai tumhara beta? Maine bola tha na time se airport pahunch jaaye!”

“Calm down, Badi Maa. Bhai airport ke liye nikal gaye hain,” a boy in his early twenties said while walking toward them with a chuckle. He is shivansh Chauhan younger brother of Reyanshi

She sighed deeply.

“Kaise calm down karun? Anshi itne mahino baad ghar aa rahi hai!”

Just then, a maid approached respectfully.

“Mam, please lunch list check kar lijiye.”

“Hmmm…” she looked through the menu carefully. “Everything is fine. Final kar do.”

Before anyone could say another word—

HONKK!

The sound of a car horn echoed from outside.

Her eyes widened instantly.

“Come on everyone!” she exclaimed excitedly. “Anshi aa gayi!”

A smile spread across everyone’s faces as the whole family hurried toward the mansion gate.

And there she was.

A girl in her early twenties stepped out of the car.

Dressed in a simple yet elegant white churidar suit, she looked breathtakingly graceful. Her almond-shaped eyes sparkled with happiness, soft curls framing her face beautifully. Bangles adorned her delicate wrists, creating a soft jingling sound as she moved.

A bright smile rested on her lips.

She was—

Reyanshi Chauhan.

The only daughter of the prestigious Chauhan family.

After completing her studies in Italy, she had finally returned home after many months.

The moment her eyes landed on her family, tears welled up in them.

“Ma… Papa…” she whispered emotionally before rushing toward them. “I missed you so much!”

Tears slipped down her cheeks as she hugged them tightly.

“We missed you too, baby,” her mother said lovingly, cupping her face and wiping her tears.

Her father smiled warmly, placing his hand on her head.

“Bas ab rona band. Pehle seedhi khadi ho jao,” her mother said softly. “Mujhe tumhari aarti karni hai.”

Reyanshi smiled through her tears and stood still.

Her mother performed the aarti with love, silently thanking God for bringing her daughter back safely.

As soon as the ritual ended—

Reyanshi grinned mischievously.

“Hello handsome,” she said dramatically while walking toward her grandfather. “Still so dashing, I must say.”

"And you also beautiful lady you was still beautiful no became more beautiful" her grandfather Aviraj Chauhan the head of the family and chairperson of Chauhan groups

Everyone burst into laughter.

Before he could reply further

A voice interrupted from behind.

“Young lady!” her grandmother nandini Chauhan said said with fake jealousy. “Mere husband se door raho. Jaake apne liye koi dhoondo!”

“Ohhooo…” Reyanshi gasped dramatically. “Meri darling jealous ho rahi hai?”

She hugged both her grandparents from the side.

The entire family laughed at their adorable antics.

“Lagta hai kisi ko hamari yaad hi nahi aayi,” her uncle Anish Chauhan teased, crossing his arms.

Reyanshi instantly turned toward him.

“Oh my cute Chote Papa!” she exclaimed before running into his arms. “Main aapko kaise bhool sakti hoon?”

Her uncle chuckled before handing her a large packet of Dairy Milk.

“This is for my little princess.”

Her eyes widened in excitement.

“You remembered?!” she gasped happily.

“How can I forget?”

She smiled brightly before turning toward her aunt Rashmi Chauhan.

“Choti Maa!” she hugged her tightly.

“Aree mera baccha,” her aunt smiled warmly. “Kaisi hai tu?”

“Bilkul achi!” Reyanshi smiled. “But I missed you…”

“Aww… maine bhi tumhe bohot miss kiya.”

“Thoda sa?” Reyanshi narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

Everyone burst out laughing again.

Suddenly—

“Huh! Aisa kya hai bags mein?” her three brothers interrupted while placing her luggage down. “Itna heavy? Kya poori Italy utha layi?”

Reyanshi crossed her arms dramatically.

“What is the benefit of having gym-freak brothers,” she scoffed, “jo sirf teen bags bhi nahi utha sakte?”

Everyone laughed loudly.

“Haww!” her cousin placed a hand over his heart dramatically. “Humme toh kabhi chocolate nahi mili. Aur madam aate hi special treatment!”

“Yes,” Reyanshi said proudly while eating her chocolate. “Because I am everyone’s favourite.”

“Shoo! Jealous people, stay away.”

“You—”

Before he could continue, her mother interrupted.

“Okay okay, bas karo sab,” she sighed helplessly. “Anshi beta, tum fresh ho jao. Lunch ready hai. Tumhe bhook lagi hogi.”

“Okay Maa!” she smiled.

Then she pointed toward her luggage dramatically.

“And you all…” she narrowed her eyes at her brothers. “Mere bags upar rakh do.”

Before anyone could protest—

She ran away upstairs.

“Badmash ladki,” one of her brothers muttered, making everyone laugh.

Reyanshi pushed open the door to her room.

And froze.

Nothing had changed.

Exactly the same.

The room carried soft white and blue aesthetics, making it look peaceful and elegant. A massive king-sized bed rested at the centre, covered with fluffy cushions. Her dressing table still held her favourite perfumes and jewellery exactly where she had left them.

Her paintings still decorated the walls beautifully.

A soft smile appeared on her lips.

Her fingers brushed against one of the paintings.

And suddenly—

Memories came rushing back.

Her childhood laughter.

Playing hide and seek with her brothers.

Dancing around the room without a care in the world.

Painting for hours while her family annoyed her endlessly.

A small tear escaped her eye.

“Home…” she whispered softly.

After standing there for a few moments, she smiled to herself

But suddenly she feels like someone was watching her she look around the room she ignored it and walked toward the bathroom to freshen up.
